Pennsylvania Legion Auxiliary Past Department President's Memorial Scholarship for Nurses Training To provide financial assistance for nursing education to children or grandchildren of deceased or disabled Pennsylvania veterans. Amount Awarded: $500Number Awarded: 1 each year.Duration: 3 years.Deadline: April of each year.Eligibility: Priority in awarding this scholarship is given to the children and grandchildren of totally disabled veterans, although the children of deceased veterans are also eligible to apply. Applicants must be residents of Pennsylvania and seniors in accredited high schools in the state planning to study nursing.
