Maryland Legion Auxiliary Past Presidents' Parley Nursing Scholarship To provide financial assistance for nursing education to the daughters of Maryland veterans. Amount Awarded: $1000Number Awarded: 1 each year.Duration: 1 year; may be renewed for up to 3 additional years.Deadline: April of each year.Eligibility: Eligible to apply for these scholarships are the daughters of ex-servicewomen who wish to become an RN, who can show financial need, and who are residents of Maryland. Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 22. If there are no applications from daughters of ex-servicewomen, the award may be given to the daughter of an ex-serviceman. Selection is based on academic record, potential for the nursing profession, and financial need.
