Job Details:
Provides aid in exposure, hemostasis and other technical functions that will assist the surgeon to carry out a safe, efficient and supportive environment with optimal results ins the surgical patient. Surgical Assistant is responsible for assisting the surgeon in a variety of major and minor surgical procedures along with providing patient care and transportation duties. Unlicensed medical school graduate or perioperative nurse with the completion of advanced education and certification for RNFA program or certified Surgical Technologist with certification as first Surgical Assistant are required. Minimum 1 year of hospital Operating Room experience in at least 3 specialities and current CPR certification are required.
